Silicon Adjuvant

Silicon Adjuvant is a high concentration of silicon formulated to facilitate the uptake and use by plants. It mixes well with your current fertilizer or crop protection formulations, strengthening the plant itself, its ability to tolerate stress and its overall health.

High Silicon Level: Guarantees high exposure to silicon for maximum plant benefits.

• Stronger Plant Growth: Silicon deposited into the plant cell wall makes stems and leaves stronger, leading to sturdier plants with less risk of lodging due to wind or heavy rain.
• Stress Tolerance: Silicon has been shown to enhance cellular responses ability of the plant and its response to environmental stresses (e.g. drought, heat, cold). This is believed to be because they have better cell wall strength and water management.

Silicone Adjuvant can be used in a wide range of formulations:

• Insecticides and Fungicides: Mix with existing insecticides and fungicide formulations that have shown promise to improve formulations and plant stress tolerance.
• Herbicides: The spray applications will sometimes provide better herbicide efficacy when they increase the herbicide coverage and penetration. Use it after consulting a compatibility test.
• Fertilizers: Blend Silicone Adjuvant with granular fertilizers or foliar fertilizer sprays to create a source of silicon for plants on demand and alongside nutrient inputs.

The ideal time and frequency of application will vary based on the crop in question, as well as the desired outcomes and the pest/disease being targeted.

Usually, an early application at some point during the crop growing cycle can be useful with ongoing potential for additional applications in-season to fit the needs of the crop.
